Finding Wolastoq Voice is the debut play from Indigenous visual artist turned playwright Natalie Sappier of Tobique First Nation. In addition to being Natalie’s first play, this production also marks the first time Theatre New Brunswick has produced a world premiere by an Indigenous artist.

The show is a dance/theatre hybrid featuring Toronto-based dancer/choreographer Aria Evans.

This show will run for two weeks in Fredericton (March 8-18) before touring the province with performances in Bathurst, Moncton, Saint John, Sackville, St. Andrews, Elsipogtog, Burnt Church, Tobique and Florenceville-Bristol. Finding Wolastoq Voice will also receive three performances at Native Earth Performing Arts in Toronto.

Each performance on the provincial tour will also include a post-performance artist talkback with Sappier.

Bathurst High School | March 24 | 7:30 p.m.
